Great River Road Interpretive Center

Despite being bisected by Hwy. 35, the 85-year-old fish hatchery along the Mississippi River never had a proper visitor contact area.  Representing a unique partnership between the US Fish and Wildlife serve and the National Scenic Byways Program, the new museum and visitor center provides visitors opportunities to discover the intrinsic value of the river and the history of the Sauk people who lived alongside the river.
