The classic struggle between Tom’s creative side and his technical side finally resolved itself when he chose a career as a mechanical engineer where he often delivers creative solutions to complex problems. Being a mechanical engineer also allows Tom to explore his environmentally responsible side with issues like energy efficiency and improved indoor air quality. When he’s not being a mechanical engineer, Tom engages his outdoorsy side by sailing, cycling, motorcycling, golfing, camping and snowmobiling. We’re just happy all of Tom’s sides found their way to our side.
What I like most about working at IBC:
I like the relaxed atmosphere along with the camaraderie between co-workers. I believe this cohesiveness allows us to build on one another's strengths which results in the ability to provide improved services for our clients.
What "sustainable" means to me:
Blending the right mix of environmental and economic elements into a highly efficient design that not only benefits the environment, but the end user as well.
I am most content:
Relaxing up north or riding a bike (pedal or motor).
Words of Wisdom:
Never let your fears of the unknown hinder an opportunity to expand your life experience. It is those uncertain adventures that often become your most cherished memories.
