Our man on The Hill, so to speak, Dan is a Midwestern-grown policy wonk full of energy—literally and literally. Dan’s energy (zeal / zest / zing / zip) manages our Capitol office with a focus on Energy (Energy Efficiency / Energy Star / Renewable Energy / Department of Energy). Dan’s passion for sustainability ignited while attending college and he has held many different positions to advance the cause: installing wind turbines in Minnesota, promoting organic agriculture in Chile, managing a utility commission campaign in Arizona, drafting laws and regulations on climate change, and now, working toward bringing energy efficient engineering systems to DC. Now that’s the power of energy.
What I like most about working at IBC:
Working on problems of global scope at a project level with the most talented, dedicated, and visionary team imaginable.
What "sustainable" means to me:
Waste not, want not.
I am most content:
Relaxing with people I appreciate and that appreciate me.
Words of Wisdom:
“Even if you’re on the right track, you’ll get run over if you just sit there.” –Will Rogers
