A self described “mutt”, Brian’s background of this and that includes retail sales, corporate training, home building and…aviation. So how does one go from flying through air to ducts that move air? He’s not sure either but his daring, open-to-anything attitude fits right into our ever forward thinking firm. Brian’s enthusiasm for what we do at IBC Engineering also goes a long way when the work day is long. But what will he be doing a few years from now? My guess is he’ll probably still be around here, finally deciphering one of Lev’s many theories.
What I like most about working at IBC:
I enjoy the diversity of the projects that we are involved with, from plumbing design for schools, to HVAC studies of hospitals, to private residences' use of geothermal and alternative energy sources.
What "sustainable" means to me:
Sustainability is the result of the utilization of intelligence and technology to offset our environmental footprint, to put back what we take so that a balance is maintained between what we take and what we put back into the world we live in.
I am most content:
Going for a hike in the woods with my daughter discovering nature. It is amazing all of the things that we overlook as adults, lost in our hectic lives, that children see as a new discovery.
